From the first song "Great Expectations," I felt as if I was
stuck on a spaceship headed to a place where all they used to play music
were drum machines and modern electronics. This, for me is a
minus due to the fact that I love "real" instruments. The lyrics were
good though, and Bible based.
"Today" was a good song and my favorite of the faster tracks.
"Complete Me" was reminiscent of a song Plumb would do, and "Electric"
showcases a different view lyrically of God's unconditional
love.
"What I Was Made For," "I Need To Know You," and "The Pieces Fit" all
seemed to be sincere heart cries, and my top three songs on the entire record.
The added piano also complimented the electronically made sounds in "The
Pieces Fit."
I'll end my review by saying this, give the Considering Lily a try. Just because
it isn't one I'd rush out and buy, doesn't mean you shouldn't.
