Inhabited
The Revolution

Artist Info: Discography
Album length: 11 tracks: 42 minutes, 1 second
Street Date: July 12, 2005

Signing with Fervent Records at the beginning of 2005, Inhabited emerges with their national debut, The Revolution. Founded by sister and brother duo Sara and Marcus Acker, Inhabited consists of five musically inspired members that share the common goal of reaching today's youth. After just one independent album entitled Innerview, Inhabited garnered much independent success and well as the attention of Fervent Records. The Revolution features a collection of rock songs that are written to lead teens of this generation to Jesus Christ through strong and meaningful lyrics, amazing guitar riffs, and an extremely catchy sound. The Revolution is a wake up call for this generation.

The Revolution was produced by Monroe Jones and Marcus Acker and co-produced by Sara Acker. Despite being a young band, Inhabited has a mature sound and a strong sense of instrumental talent as they accomplish the task of fitting perfectly into the rock genre of the Christian music industry.

Kicking off Inhabited's debut is "Open My Eyes," an upbeat rock song which automatically proves that the vocals of Sara Acker are quite similar to those of Leigh Bingham Nash of the late Sixpence None the Richer. Most of the songs featured on the album are more upbeat and fast, save for the slower "Memories," "You Are My Peace" which seems to be more of a worship song, and "I Run to You," which is contains a mixture of upbeat yet slow elements. Ending the album is the title track "Revolution," an excellent ending for such a riveting and generation-altering album.

If you are a Superchick, BarlowGirl, or Sixpence None the Richer fan, then check out the wonders of Inhabited's The Revolution. It will be exciting to watch how their songwriting progresses in the coming years.
