Usually The Devil Wears Prada is a little bit more chaotic than what I like in metal, but I have such respect for these guys. They're 100% about Jesus, and with each new album they get closer and closer to becoming a mainstream phenomenon. Hopefully this one will put them in that spot...

In an effort to express the weight of expectation behind this yet untitled release, would it not suffice simply to note that every song on this band's myspace has well over 2 million plays? TDWP's positively savage style has conquered the hardcore metal scene of this generation. Fervent cleans complimenting screams with pitch ranging from sky scraping to submarine furnish a distinguished vocal contrast and appealingly dress the famously heavy hitting rhythm section and raging guitars to offer a perfect formula for any ear itching for violent riffs. A recent blog posted by the band suggests that in the last year and a half since graduating from high school and performing in a few of the metal world's most prestigious recent tours, they are "completely different people and much more mature musicians" – a proclamation that no doubt peaks anticipation among the multitudes of fanatics...
