Hey guys,

I just wanted to let you know about a new change to the forums we have to make. I'm sure many of you have noticed an increase in users selling their own CDs and CCM-related goodies, and even people signing up for the sole purpose of advertising their stuff, promoting their own website or someone else's, looking for a musician, promoting their own band or CD, or promoting an event they are organizing or excited about. Well, it's kind of getting out of hand and the mods and I have discussed the topic thoroughly and are going to have to rule it out entirely.

Posts that contain advertising of any kind will be either edited and locked, or deleted entirely. Signatures are expected to follow the same guidelines.

If you are an independant artist with a CD you would like to have reviewed, please see our "Indie Music" section (link is up top), and follow the instructions provided.

If you are an indie or unknown Christian artist who wants to get the word out, we have ONE thread in which you may do that. Please feel free to post here:

~Also, please do not advertise or invite board members to become part of an artist's "street team". Although we do support Christian artists and their work, we do not want the boards to become congested with street team invitations.~

Feel free to e-mail Karen M., our Forum Administrator, by using the Staff Contact Form at the "Staff" link at the bottom of this page, if you have a question or a concern and she will reply to you as soon as possible.

Thanks for your understanding, guys. These forums are geared toward discussion and conversation. We don't really want the forums getting too commercial or turning into a CCM "flea market". Sorry for the inconvenience! We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to fellowship together on the JfH Forums! :o)

God bless!
