It seems like there is a perfect, uplifting Bebo Norman album for whatever I am facing. In the recent months I had been really struggling spiritually and Bebo Norman's latest masterpiece (Lights of Distant Cities) ministered to me in such a deep way. I was so moved by this album that it seems like it was written just to give me hope and encouragement. I am so thankful for the hand of God in Bebo Norman's music and I will continue to listen as long as he is making music. "Busted Heart" is such an inspirational song; I love the chorus "hold on to me, don't let me lose my way." Ever since I was a little girl that's been my prayer at night, that no matter what 'season' I go through that God would 'hold on to me and never let me go'. I also just recently have become addicted to the song "Crave" because of how deep the lyrics are, "I need a drop of grace, to carry me today, a simple song to sing, it's written on my soul, hope's what we crave" I love how it's also more of an acoustic, soft song, letting the lyrics stand out. I listen to their album at least once a day and can't wait for more from these God-gifted brothers!
