"This song is the rhythm of what I love. It has a touch of island melodics with a hip-hop feel presiding. DJ cuts, live horns, and spicy female BGV’s make it gritty and street like. It reflects who I am as an artist, rootsy enough, urban enough, and chanty yet melodic.
The heart of the song was simply a prayer that unravels in conversational terms, honest and vulnerable.
