July 15, 2009 - Nashville, TN - The encouraging music from VSR Music Group's duo Chris And Conrad
is making a nationwide impact. Their debut single, "Lead Me To The Cross," is a hit at radio as well as at retail by charting
on three radio formats while obtaining over 10,000 downloads, just in the past few weeks. The single is top 10 in airplay at
networks K-LOVE and WAY-FM, with over 90 reporting stations currently airing the single. Currently, "Lead Me To The Cross" is
#2 at AC-Inspo, #6 AC-Indicator, and is #24 on CHR, making it a three-format hit and successfully introducing Chris And Conrad
to listeners everywhere.
On the heels of a recent appearance on the K-LOVE morning show at EMF Broadcasting in Rocklin, CA, Chris And Conrad are currently promoting their debut self-titled CD on a 30-day, 70-city promotional radio tour. During their venture, they will log 8000 miles on the road across the country, including a stop this Saturday, July 18th, at the popular Ignite Chicago Festival.
The video for their forth-coming single, "You're The One," will be released next month, while the single is scheduled to impact radio later this year. The CD Chris And Conrad, just released May 5th and distributed by EMI CMG Distribution, includes an exclusive 30-minute DVD documentary featuring interviews, live performances and a behind-the-scenes look at the songwriting sessions for the project.
Chris And Conrad is comprised of Chris Kuti and Conrad Johnson. In their music, this talented pair offers a refreshing perspective to everyday struggles in life and faith. When they are not touring, Chris And Conrad reside in central Florida, making music ministry happen on a weekly basis. Chris Kuti leads worship for the college-age service at his church, while Conrad Johnson is a producer/engineer at a local sound studio.
