WINCHESTER, Va. - The award-winning pop/rock bands Building 429 and The Afters will perform a benefit concert at John Handley High School's Patsy Cline Theatre in Winchester, Virginia, on Sunday, September 29, 2013. Profits from the high energy show, also featuring Hawk Nelson and special guest Finding Favour, will benefit the John Handley High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes (JHHS FCA).

"FCA fund-raisers support college scholarships, Christian Athletic Camp leadership experiences and club expenses. The FCA exists to promote Christ's example and teachings as a positive lifestyle for young men and women participating in sports at JHHS," says Jim Gowdy, JHHS FCA faculty sponsor.

The United We Stand Tour is expected to be one of the strongest this fall, with Building 429, The Afters, and Hawk Nelson enjoying number one hits this year. "We are excited to be working with The Afters to bring an amazing lineup of entertainment and worship to the masses this fall," says Jason Roy, lead singer for Building 429. "The UWS Tour is guaranteed to thrill as we partner the strength of two of contemporary Christian music's historically prominent bands. We feel blessed to have Hawk Nelson joining us and look forward to witnessing the rebirth of an amazing group. These shows will be fun, high energy and will hopefully leave you feeling encouraged in your faith."

"We're excited to be partnering with our friends, Building 429, this fall for the United We Stand tour," says Josh Havens, lead singer for The Afters. "It's going to be a special night that we hope brings our fans together and unites the communities that we're in. We're also thrilled to have Hawk Nelson and Finding Favour join us for what will definitely be one of the best nights of music that we've ever been a part of."

Tickets are available at Handley High School and Sweet Frog in Winchester, and on iTickets http://www.itickets.com/events/311663.html. For the general public tickets are $20 for main floor seating and $15 for balcony seating; all seats are general admission. JHHS Students, faculty and staff purchasing at the school, and groups of 10+ purchasing via iTickets, receive a $5 discount.

The JHHS FCA benefit concert is being sponsored by Jay Smith and Sean Dudley of Edward Jones Investments, and Catch and Unleash Productions, Inc.
