(NASHVILLE, Tennessee) -- iShine Records announces the upcoming release of new albums from Mission Six, The Rubyz and Jonnie & Brookie. All three releases, hitting stores on May 3rd, will be made available in a new format which iShine has dubbed MVP, standing for Music, Video, Purpose.

The MVP format is a DVD with ten new songs, ten music videos, ten video song explanations, inspiring interviews, multimedia content and an episode of the weekly TBN television series iShine KNECT which features the artist. MVP's also include a link to download the music files for use on CDs, iPods and more.

“We are excited to launch a completely new iShine product line for Christian music and media with our distribution partner Provident-Integrity Distribution,” says Brad Mathias, President of Bema Media/iShine Live. “MVP is a brand concept that iShine has created to fuse the heart of our ministry and the art of our music and creativity into an entertaining and relevant pre-teen and teen product line. MVP is designed to appeal to both the fans who love our iShine artists and the millions of Christian parents and pastors who are desperate to find wholesome Biblically-based resources they can trust.”

MISSION SIX, Shock Wave – In stores May 3, 2011
This is the third album from the popular teen band Mission Six. Since releasing their debut album Superhero in 2008, Mission Six has matured rapidly from a literal “boy” band to a legitimate rock band. Now in their teens, they have performed hundreds of concerts, co-starred on the Saturday morning television series iShine KNECT and garnered airplay on Radio Disney, all while receiving comparisons to musical contemporaries like Relient K and the Jonas Brothers.

THE RUBYZ, Reflection – In stores May 3, 2011
The Rubyz return with their third album, which features familiar new songs as well as their Ruby-fied take on some familiar worship songs. The teen duo have spent the past few years performing on the iShineLIVE Tour nationwide, co-starring on iShine KNECT and receiving radio airplay worldwide including Radio Disney, while being compared to popular teen acts like Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato.

JONNIE & BROOKIE, Love is Calling – In stores May 3, 2011
Originally released as iShine’s first iTunes exclusive release last fall, Jonnie & Brookie’s Love is Calling is now headed to stores in the new MVP format, with added content. The teen sister pop/rock duo write their own songs and play guitar and bass. In addition to winning Radio Disney’s “Next Big Thing,” Jonnie & Brookie have been performing across the U.S. for years, including the iShineLIVE Tour, Disney Channel’s Summer at Sea concerts and opening for the likes of Everlife and the Jonas Brothers, to name a few.

iShine is a Christian media group dedicated to ministering to "tweens" and their families. iShine reaches today's "tweens" through Biblically-based live concert events (iShineLIVE!), unique television programming seen weekly on TBN (iShine KNECT), iShine artist releases to CD and DVD, interactive websites and an entire line of books and Bibles all specifically designed to be relevant to this vital audience.
