Nashville, TN - IMMERSE, the Gospel Music Association's music training experience, is honored to announce OneLife (www.onelifematters.org) as its ministry partner for this year's event. IMMERSE is designed as the one stop for developing artists and songwriters, providing legitimate training and networking with Christian music professionals.

"Our vision for IMMERSE is that it will effectively train and develop the next generation of Christian artists and songwriters. As part of that training, we believe that these creative individuals will also be responsible to serve - both locally and globally." says GMA Executive Director, Jackie Patillo. "OneLife not only educates us on the very real needs that our world has but also allows our attendees to use their gifts to bring awareness and provide solutions."

For 2013, a unique partnership has been created with OneLife, where attendees can be a part of the "One Notebook" project (raising money for school supplies in Zimbabwe), and the "One Brothel" project (changing the lives of young brothel workers in China). In addition to the opportunity to visit these projects internationally, attendees will be asked to collaborate on writing songs that bring awareness to these great needs.

"OneLife is committed to using every resource that we have available to bring awareness to the great needs of our brothers and sisters around the world. IMMERSE provides a unique and effective way for us to communicate through music these needs to an even greater number of people." says Michael Lopez, Director of OneLife.

The GMA also reveals its first round of artists and industry executives that will be mentoring this year's attendees. Some of the guests include: Brandon Heath, Tommy Walker, Plumb, Jennie Lee Riddle, Steve Taylor, Montell Jordan, Joel Lindsey, Michael Farren, Brett Manning, Steve Hindalong, Carl Cartee, Michael Boggs and Tony Wood. Industry representatives from leading companies such as Capitol Christian Group, True Artist Management, Word Entertainment, 168 Management and Lillenas Publishing have been confirmed as well.

Programming for the 2013 event will include classes in music business, songwriting and artist development as well as the reVIEWyou program which provides mentoring with a songwriting and performance competition.

IMMERSE 2013 will be held May 26-29, 2013 at the LifeWay Christian Resources Building, 1 LifeWay Plaza, Nashville, TN 37234. To register, please sign up at http://www.ExperienceIMMERSE.com.
