This marks the 7th year for Christian music festival, Raise The Praise (RTP). The festival features national acts such as Hawk Nelson along with the best in independent emerging artists. Past artists have included national and international artists: FireFlight, Stellar Kart, Tricia Brock of Superchick, Heart Of Saints, and Philip Renner.

Hawk Nelson, a Dove, Grammy and Juno nominated band will headline Raise The Praise Festival this year. They had a break out year in 2013 with their song "Words" being in Top 10 for over 35 weeks. Joining Hawk Nelson will be a diverse line up of great emerging artists including: Allan Scott, Esther Melody Band, Lights of Day, Hip Kitty, Whosoever South and many other national and indie acts.

DiscMakers/Reverbnation is partnering with Raise The Praise Festival to feature the best of independent artists on the main, indie and acoustic stages. Submission is free for artists and will be open thru March 1st, 2014. To submit go to www.raisethepraisefestival.com

Founder/Director of Raise The Praise Festival Joyce Stark says, "We invite everyone to join us for RTP 2014 as we feature amazing national artists and the best in independent artists that are impacting the world. We couldn't be more excited to be able to positively impact the communities of Middle Tennessee."

With the hope of reaching as many people as possible the festival will remain free, as it has been for the last 6 years.

The 2-day festival begins on Friday June 13th from 6pm to 11pm and concludes on Saturday June 14th from 10am to 11pm. It takes place in Portland TN, just 40 minutes north of Nashville, on 7 acres of outdoor recreational paradise at Richland Park Amphitheate. A family friendly event that will feature music on 3 stages, a special KidsZone, camping, vendors, speakers and more.
