Nichole Nordeman
This Mystery

Artist Info: Discography
Album length: 10 tracks: 48 Minutes, 42 Seconds
Street Date: 2000

Nichole Nordeman's This Mystery is one of the best Contemporary Christian CDs out there. From the first word in the song "This Mystery" to the last word in the bonus track "Why", the sweet sound of her voice makes this CD a necessary addition to any contemporary pop collection.

The first five songs are a great slow start to this album. "This Mystery" starts the album off with talking about being the hands and feet of this mystery (God). "Tremble" discusses the forgetfulness of Christians to fear God. "Fool for You" is about taking the "hits" of being laughed at by the world for being a Christian. The next two songs talk about first, how we often forget the wonder of Christ and God that we had when we were younger, and the second, a prayer about asking God to be there. The next song, "Lookin' at You (Lookin' at Me)" has a faster tempo while "As", a song written by Stevie Wonder, is even more up-beat than the previous song. "Home" describes that all of the things you will ever need are at home while "Please Come" describes Christ's invitation for us to all come. "Every Season" Goes through all of the seasons and shows us how we can find God in it all. And finally the bonus track "Why" which tells of a young girl's account of the cross from an innocent child's eyes.

This Mystery offers many different tunes to satisfy any fan of melody-driven pop music. The only This Mystery from Nichole Nordeman is highly recommended!
