Lyrics:
The plot thickened as he was stricken by a shove from an incompetent bully on the back of the bus. Where young kids grow up quick trying to act so tough but really they're insecure, hoping their rough domineer is enough to cover it up.
Does the arrogance stem from the negligence of their parents? Or is because of where they're from that he's treated like this? So deprecated, he takes it until his patience has run out and he's standing over that bully who's been taunting him, so what now?
He's defended himself but now he's facing the consequences from those who should've been there when he needed their help. I'm not condoning the violence, just trying to state what I would consider the obvious problem. Imagine, it's your daughter, your son getting picked on by some moron who's got a point to prove by being the center of attention in the front of a classroom.
And it doesn't stop there...
See, instigators come in all shapes and sizes, some of them stand behind pulpits and others are easier to recognize as victimizer's. Liars and tyrants whose selfish desires of feeding on the weak like blood-thirsty vampires.
They seek to devour, abusing even the slightest of their power and the casualties that are left behind are left with a vengeance on their minds. Some may even become the bully they once despised and so the cycle continues to ruin more lives further down the line.
Admittedly, I used to be the antagonist, my heart - charcoal, the blackest like that of a masochist. Disastrous were my ways and nothing seemed to have prompted me to change until change was the only option that remained.
Change was the only option that remained.
