This is the squintessential collection of works by one of the most underrated artists of all time. Steve Taylor was not only a pioneer musically and artistically, but his lyrics are just astounding. Only a genius can blend such a unique and concentrated mix of logic and humor and theology with soul-stirring, upbeat music. From the first (and only significant) positive satirist on the scene, this collection is a must have (the album's lyrics can be found at OnFritz.com). While some of the tunes might be classified musically as era pieces, keep in mind he helped define these eras. Personal favorites are "I Want to be a Clone," "Hero," and "Sin for a Season."
