Deja Vu: The Thousand Foot Krutch Anthology may quite simply be one of the most value-packed albums on the Christian music market. It combines all of the songs from three of TFK's previous albums: Phenomenon (2003), The Art of Breaking (2005) and The Flame in All of Us (2007). But most retailers sell it for the price of one CD. All in all, the three included discs in this album have 36 songs total.
Hits such as the hard-rock ballad "Phenomenon," the piano-driven "Breathe You In," and the head-banging "Move" are there. So are hidden jewels like the vocal-oriented "Falls Apart" and the arena anthem "Rawkfist;" it's all there. These CDs have been in my player for weeks now, and there's so much variety that it never grows old.
Deja Vu is a Thousand Foot Krutch fan's dream. It is also a great way to introduce people who aren't familiar with the band to their work. From the opening track, "Phenomenon," to the aptly named "The Last Song," this three-album anthology will keep you singing along (at the very least, with the windows up) for a long time.
