Children 18:3
Songs of Desperation EP

Artist Info: Discography
Album length: 8 tracks: 22 minutes, 30 seconds
Street Date: 2006

Being of the homeschool cut, I know it can be difficult to truly become a good musician, with having only the critique of family and friends. In addition, working with siblings can be frustrating, so I truly am impressed that Children 18:3 has such an inspiring sound. I also approve of the positive message that can propel them to even being compared to the "mainstream" music industry.

This being said, it can be confusing to hear some of their lyrics. How do several of the seemingly nonsensical phrases fit in with the Christian lifestyle? Despite that, they do have an amazing sound and an even more amazing calling to be God's voice where it might not reach. Music has power.

Where will they go? God only knows, but I believe there will be big and bright things in store, if they stay with this style. And if there aren't, there should be. Songs of Desperation is a good album, a good sound, and a good message. Keep being Children.
