Brighton, UK – Renowned Drum and Bass artist MC Tempo (Mark Edwards) is set to release his latest single, "Rude Boy Style," on June 14, 2024. Available for preorder from May 30, 2024, this track promises to be a powerful addition to the summer soundscape.
Track Details:
Song Summary: "Rude Boy Style" is a high-energy Drum and Bass anthem that takes listeners on an exhilarating journey through its pulsating rhythms and electrifying basslines. The track's fast-paced, intricate drums and deep bass set the stage for a compelling narrative. Juxtaposing references to felonies with the virtues from Galatians 5:22, MC Tempo challenges the value systems of the ‘rude boy’ persona.
Enhanced with stimulating synths and memorable melodies, "Rude Boy Style" is perfect for both dance floors and personal playlists, capturing the raw essence of Drum and Bass.
Artist Background: MC Tempo, also known as Mark Edwards, hails from England, where he faced significant personal challenges growing up. After his parents' divorce and the tragic death of his sister, he was expelled from four schools. Channeling his pain into aggressive rap, he soon found himself entangled in drugs and dealing. At 15, he joined the underground music scene but lost hearing in his left ear at an illegal rave. A life-changing encounter at Emmanuel church in Brighton restored his hearing through prayer, leading him to embrace Christianity and transform his music.
Discography: MC Tempo has an extensive discography, featuring over 200 songs, with several tracks amassing over 1 million Spotify streams. Known for his 24-hour freestyle rap and high-energy live performances, MC Tempo’s music spans from headstrong Hip Hop to dynamic Drum and Bass, demonstrating his versatile style.
Performance: MC Tempo’s commanding stage presence captivates audiences in both church and nightclub settings. His performances are a blend of creative hosting, lyrical freestyle, versatile vocal control, and rapid flows, with speeds reaching up to 180 words per minute.
