It's 2010 and it's time to take a look ahead at another new year of music. So, once again, we're Highlighting our most anticipated projects already in development for the year. Read on to see what records the staff of Jesusfreakhideout.com are most excited about - and why!

Outline

  20 of 25
#20. Blindside
untitled

Release Date: August 10, 2010
I’ve been waiting. And waiting. For years now it seems. If I don’t get to hear this record this year, I will be extremely disappointed.
        - Kevin Hoskins

Blindside’s indie release The Black Rose EP was a great little teaser with the promise of a full-length on the way. That was 2007... and the last we heard from them. Blindside fans, the wait is finally over! Last summer, they announced that after 5 years of writing and time off the road, they were ready to record a new full-length album. The title has yet to be announced, but it's set to release this year, backed with a promise to deliver the best of their career.
        - Jen Rose

Blindside's Silence and About A Burning Fire were two of the strongest records in their genre, with the follow-up, The Great Depression being quite a departure. It's been so long since a full release from them, that I'm more than ready to see what's been brewing all this time.
        - John DiBiase
