June 27, 2016
We announced Friday that Project 86 would be debuting a new PledgeMusic campaign for the band's 10th album today, June 27. The PledgeMusic campaign is now live, giving fans a chance to get their new album digitally, on autographed CD, or on limited edition vinyl. There are other neat packages, including getting your name in the liner notes or a disposable camera of photos the band took during the production of the album, as well as some vintage merch.
The new album is slated for a June 2017 release, and those who pledge to the campaign will get one completed new song a month until the release of the album. Also, with the Influence EP releasing September 1st, fans will get the first cover song - "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys - immediately, and four more on September 1st.
The band writes, "All year has led to this: A huge PledgeMusic Campaign to fund our 10th Studio Album!
We have TONS of vintage items, experiences and new music coming - 15 SONGS TOTAL!
ALL pledges receive our version of Beastie Boys' SABOTAGE immediately, then you will get the music as we make it! 4 more influence (cover) songs by Sept. 1, then ONE SONG PER MONTH until we finish this album...which will release June of 2017.
EVERY $15 SPENT ENTERS YOU TO WIN OUR ...And the Rest Will Follow Banner Set. 3 banners used onstage while touring in 2005 and 2006. During that span we shared the stage with August Burns Red, POD, and many more. It is a piece of P86 history, carrying sweat and dirt from cities all over the world. Once we hit our Pledge Goal, we will be announcing the winner!
Everything included in this campaign is ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH THE CAMPAIGN.
This is the last time to get all the vintage items...so don't miss out!"
