Bondservant
East To Bellenburg

Bondservant is a young California band that recently began in the summer of 2001. Their debut EP, East To Bellenburg, is also a debut for independent label Integrity Records.

“Are You Hearing?” begins things asking one astonishing question. Pop/ punk vocally resembling lead singer Dan Bixler to the nasally Mike Herrera of MxPx, this is decent and catchy. “Flight” goes into a delayed chorus while “Thank You” highlights an emotional anthem of thanks. “All This For You” adds a very Worship-filled track where “Searching For Life” and “Closure” are evidently Green Day influenced.

With more crafting and better production time, Bondservant will be a band to look for in the future. Right now though, the talent that I know is there just isn’t shining through. Maybe next time, folks.
