Emissary is a Michigan based band, formed in 1996 who have played with artists such as Bleach, The Katinas, and Sammy Ward, not to mention some performances in Romania. They have two full-length albums to their name, and now a 3-song demo produced by Tim Bushong, formerly of the Channel Surfers.
Emissary has something great going for them, music-wise. I just couldn't swallow the vocals. Either they were turned up too much or just don't fit the styling-- I haven't come to that conclusion yet. I was impressed, though, by the production and the music that takes the good aspects of grunge or pop rock. If they find a way to mesh the vocals and music better, I would definitely see Emissary going places.
