Keith Green
For Him Who Has Ears to Hear

Artist Info: Discography
Album length: 10 tracks: 36 minutes, 26 seconds
Street Date: May 20, 1977

Keith Green had been writing music for practically his whole life. Once on Decca Records as a child he was oh so close to becoming the next child star but Donny Osmond changed that. When he came to Christ as an adult, he committed himself to writing music for God and, as a result, released his first Christian Record For Him who Has Ears to Hear, thanks to Bill Hearn and Sparrow Records.

For Him who Has Ears to Hear is packed from start to finish with Keith's amazing piano skills, passionate display of faith, and his clever songwriting. Green makes no mistake who this was written for when he comes exploding out of the gate with "You Put this Love in My heart," "There's so much more I could say if I could just find a way, You put this love in my heart. Is all this real or a dream I feel so good I could scream!" Green even shows the cleverness in his writing with "He'll Take Care of the Rest," "Just think about Noah showing his umbrella when there wasn't a cloud in the sky... Then the Lord said 'hey Noah be cool just keep building that boat in just a matter of time we'll see who's gonna float'"

For Him who has Ears to Hear was the starting point for Keith's amazing ministry. From this record to his premature death in a plane crash in 1982, his music continues to impact people today as Keith's music and legacy lives on even longer than he did.
