Out on promising new label Future Destination Records is a split from Farewell To Fashion and Inez. Inez is a new group from North Carolina while Farewell to Fashion is said to be the spawn of the late Jeremiah's Grotto. This is The Price of Fame.
Leading the way is Farewell to Fashion with 3 disappointing tracks and an emotionless instrumental filler; considering some of the group member's talented musical pasts. "2 Hours Separate" is the best of what we have here with a nice lead guitar part whereas vocally, things don't mix well. I'm reminded of a diminutive Squad Five-0 or bad post hair metal punk.
Inez also begins with an instrumental but something of better quality, as well as four tracks to its name. "Revolving Man" will induce a cringe at high parts while "Bystander" and "The Boy Who Lived In A Brown Paper Sack" show a lot of promise. Look for these guys.
This split could have been something special. Farewell To Fashion has an impressive veteran history while Inez is a rookie everyone should keep an eye out for; let's just hope that Farewell To Fashion lives up to the hype. There's no price of fame till you get it.
