(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Aug. 20, 2009—Sparrow recording artist Britt Nicole debuts at No. 1 this week on the Billboard Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart with her highly anticipated sophomore effort, The Lost Get Found. The album’s first single and title track also currently tops the Radio & Records Christian Hit Radio chart for a fifth consecutive week, while Britt readies to debut music from The Lost Get Found live on “The Revolve Tour” beginning next month.

In addition to claiming the No. 1 position on Billboard’s Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart, The Lost Get Found debuted at No. 63 on the Billboard Top 200. The album ranked No. 2 on iTunes’ Christian/Gospel Top Albums chart and its single is presently No. 1 on iTunes’ Christian/Gospel Top Songs chart as well.

“Britt has made a fantastic record that delivers on all levels and has worked tirelessly promoting it,” says Hudson Plachy, director of product marketing for EMI CMG Label Group. “We are thrilled to see how consumers have responded to her ministry, message and art, and are grateful to retail, radio, and media for helping to tell the story of The Lost Get Found.”

Produced by Robert Marvin (Mat Kearney, tobyMac) and Dan Muckala (Brandon Heath, Backstreet Boys), The Lost Get Found, released Aug. 11, 2009, showcases high-energy tracks, catchy hooks, Top 40 beats and lyrics that delve into the heart of real issues facing today’s youth, including peer pressure and low self-esteem. The album encourages listeners to be bold in their identity in Christ so that they may effectively reach out to those who don’t know Him.

Christian radio embraced this message early on, catapulting lead single “The Lost Get Found” to No. 1 on the Radio & Records Christian Hit Radio chart. Additionally, the song is already No. 9 on the AC Monitored chart and No. 12 at AC Indicator.

“Britt has always had a knack for writing memorable melodies and lyrics that are fun to sing along to,” says Grant Hubbard, vice president of national promotions for EMI CMG. “‘The Lost Get Found’ is no exception. It’s a contagious song with a great message, and we really appreciate radio’s support."

In support of the record’s launch, Britt will perform music from The Lost Get Found for national audiences on “The Revolve Tour,” kicking off Sept. 11 in Columbus, Ohio. A complete list of tour dates is available at www.revolvetour.com.

Hailing from Kannapolis, NC, pop-rock artist Britt Nicole burst onto the Christian music scene in 2007 with her Sparrow Records debut, Say It. The finely crafted pop collection produced 3 Top 10 radio singles “You,” “Set the World on Fire,” and “Believe,” while earning Britt a slot on “The Winter Jam 2007 Tour” and Superchick’s spring 2008 “Cross The Line Tour.” Her songs have been featured on LucasArt’s Thrillville 2 video game, the “Legally Blonde 3” DVD, and most recently an episode of MTV’s “The Hills.” For more information about Britt Nicole, please visit www.myspace.com/brittnicolemusic and www.brittnicole.com
