>> Family Force 5 Update: "Fatty" Doing "Tiny Bit Better"
Got an update on yesterday's report about Family Force 5 bassist Joshua "Fatty" Olds' kidney disease. Today, Solomon posted updates on his Twitter with some fairly good news (despite tomorrow's concert having to be cancelled): "Fatty is doing a 2nd dialysis treatment today. DR say he's a tiny bit better:) thank u all 4 ur support but keep sending thoughts & prayers!" then later, "My bro's kidneys r regaining strength but DR r tryin to find the solution. He has an overproductive enzyme that's causing the prob." Please continue to keep Josh and the Olds family in your prayers!

>> Sparrow Releases Unreleased Keith Green Christmas Song
Keith Green was known to give electrifying performances and often he would debut songs he had just finished writing. Such is the case with "Happy Birthday To You (Jesus)" which was only performed one-time in concert and until now was never released. The song is currently available at iTunes and Amazon MP3. Recorded at a concert in 1981, this song talks about the commercialism of Christmas and encourages us to remember the real meaning of Christmas-a message that still rings true today. Available digitally, this never-before-released song also comes with a talk about Christmas from Keith that will stir your heart and challenge all of us to rethink Christmas. (from Sparrow Records)

Check out this new update from acclaimed singer/songwriter Cindy Morgan. For the latest from Cindy, visit her website at cindymorganmusic.com...

Hi there, hope you all had a wonderful, bountiful thanksgiving. It seems that everyone has immediately moved on to the subject of Christmas.. us included, our family had to go buy a new Christmas tree last night... Sigmund, being Canadian is all about not killing a tree so yes, it's plastic and I get what he's saying but oh how I miss the smell and warm feeling a real tree gives you so if you're one of those folks who went for the real thing.. enjoy;-)

ok.. so I am so bad right now about being inconsistent about blogging.. due to lots of stuff going on but I wanted to take a moment to tell you guys that I have switched gears a bit.... remember when I sent that email out asking you guys to tell me your favorite 5-10 songs from past records....well, thank you for those suggestions and they have been set aside for safe keeping but for now... what Im really feeling like doing.. is a Hymn record. I have been wrestling with it for a while.. do I do the sentimental fav's or the hymn record.... and have finally decided to do the Hymn record:-) a women's perogative.

So, yesterday, I started mapping out arrangements, songs, juggling my schedule with the two different producers I will co- produce this record with. They are both two of my best friends and I am so excited to work with each of them... I will mention that this the first time I have ever done a record with more than one producer but since the three of us will be working hand in hand through the whole process it should ensure that the record sounds cohesive etc....so.. I am doing some of my old favorites with a few original songs that hopefully sound like something you think you heard when you were a kid in church on sunday morning.

I will be blogging, taking pics and video along the way so you can walk along with me in the process.

Thanks for reading.. thanks for caring. Hope you are happy and blessed today.

God is still good.
xo,
cindy
