Family Force 5 are busy in the studio right now recording their third full-length record. Check out their personal update below...

"It has been a ridiculo (sp intended) summer! The Family Force 5 world is spinning out of control, and it doesn't look like there's any light at the end of the tunnel. In some weird way, that's a good thing. For those of you who don't know, we've safely returned from our British Invasion, which included shows in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, England, and Germany (I decided to save the least British for last). Make sure to check out our flickr account for some of Xanadu's pics from the voyage, which included our first metal festival ever. Playing alongside Rammstein, Motley Crue, Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper, Slayer, Anthrax, and plenty of other legends was a tremendous honor for a bunch of country kids. The summer festivals (featuring large glowing globes with our faces on them) are winding down, and we're currently in the studio recording some tracks for the long-awaited new album, which will probably be out early 2011. The stuff's sounding dope, and we think you'll love it. Stay tuned for more updates, phone calls, chats, and pictures from the studio." -- Family Force 5

The band recently headlined Purple Door Festival 2010. Check out our review for over 80 photos from Family Force 5's set!
