Well over a year ago, ska-core band The Insyderz announced a return to music with work being underway on an already titled new album, The Sinner's Songbook. Little was heard about it after awhile, but now The Insyderz have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funding for the album. Check out their pitch below and then visit this link to help!
"The Insyderz have been playing music since 1995. We have been on many a label and have been accused of being the "kiss of death" due to every label that signs us, ends up going bankrupt. With that being said we cannot get a label to sign us. We are going to do this thing on our own (with your help). 15 tracks of both original and cover songs. 2011 hopes to be the year of the Sinner's Songbook."
In other ska-related news, Ska Lives is going to be releasing their second compilation album, Ska Lives Vol. 2 on June 30th. The album is loaded with lots of great, new Christian ska by The Insyderz, October Light, Blood and Water, The Dingees, Make Up Your Mind, Good Weather Forecast, etc!
