Saved By Grace is a 5-piece band of Kansas City boys. Two Jason's, a Dustin, a Josh, and a Travis make up a group whose hardcore following seems to grow by each show. With their first ever release as well as the first from up and coming Missouri based Recorse Records, it's safe to say, For What You Have Done is something to check out.
I won't waste your time in saying something about each track; every song has it's own amazing musical qualities. I am no hardcore fan, but I won't hold that against them. SBG has the musicianship to hold up against the likes of Thursday (with a more accessible hardcore voice) and definitely Norma Jean, Hopesfall, or Stretch Arm Strong. This is a band of best friends and if one left, it would all be over. That definitely bleeds into a tight knit bunch of brothers who make great music together, and only together. I just wish there was more melody in their "melodic hardcore" stigma. But if you're a true hardcore devotee, this is definitely something for you to do.
