#3. Switchfoot
untitled

Release Date: Fall '08
With a history like that of Switchfoot's - and a faithful live performance - I can easily forgive Oh! Gravity. And now with one of our favorite bands being indie again, well... I'm ever so willing for a new Switchfoot record to grace my ears once again.
        - John DiBiase

Since their huge breakout mainstream album The Beautiful Letdown, a hard, weary road with Sony/Columbia Records, and two records later, rockers Switchfoot severed ties with the label, and are prepping to release their seventh recording, independently, under their newly formed label, Lowercase People. Time will only tell if this beloved band has what it takes to pick up the pieces from a partially failed attempt at mainstream, and make their way back into the independent circuit...
        - Justin Mabee

Years ago, Switchfoot was one of Christian music's best kept secrets, now these San Diego natives have made a name for themselves literally across the world. They never fail to live up the high standards they have placed for themselves, releasing stunning albums and putting on stellar live shows. Their upcoming release will no doubt keep up the pace...
        - Lauren Summerford
