#2. Family Force 5
untitled

Release Date: Summer, 2010
Never content to stay in one musical place for long, Family Force 5 has given us everything from dirty south crunk rock to dance floor ready beats to hip-hop grooves in Christmas carols. There's no telling what they'll do next... and that's half the fun of new music from them!
        - Jen Rose

A consistent favorite for us, Family Force 5 keeps slinging greatness our way; with two extraordinary albums, plus a remix album and a distinctive Christmas record to boot, they show no signs of slowing down anytime soon, and it'll be safe to say that any new material from these guys is going to turn heads...
        - Roger Gelwicks

Family Force 5: a name synonomous with "crunk" "party" and "awesome live show." Enough said.
        - Laura Cree

Family Force 5 likes to keep things interesting. Once a groundbreaking pioneer of the self-proclaimed "crunk rock" genre, this eclectic group most recently turned up the heat with more electronic based party jams. Their newest album promises to be a healthy mix of both styles, returning to the band's roots while maintaining some of the newer elements as well. Are you ready for the album of the year?
        - "Flip" Choquette

Since the release of Dance or Die, we've heard from FF5 very frequently. Everytime I hear of another release, I have to admit that I might be getting tired of them. But when I hear it, it's always pleasing, so I can't complain. Especially with the way their music has been moving towards more gangsta style stuff. Their next full-length should be impressive, and a lot more mature...
        - Scott Fryberger

FF5 always keeps things fresh, so I can't help but wonder what in the world they will come up with for their third album. I’m personally hoping they will bring back their signature ‘crunk rock’ sound from Business Up Front, while keeping the dance elements of Dance or Die. But who knows? Maybe they will throw a curveball and come up with something totally new. Just one thing… please no bluegrass!
        - Matthew Watson
