So, without further ado, we give you Highlighting Second-Half 2016! -- Please keep in mind that any artists that placed in the First Half (like Skillet, Paper Route and winner House of Heroes) won't be re-listed here!

#6. Disciple
Love Live The Rebels

Release Date: Late 2016
If you looked up the word "solid" in the dictionary, you may just see a picture of Kevin Young's face. He has been releasing solid rock n' roll with his band Disciple for years. Their last album was stellar and I'm hoping for more of the same with this year's release.

One of my favorite band's teamed up with my all-time favorite producer, Aaron Sprinkle? Only good things can happen. You can always count on Disciple to produce a solid rock album, without running any risk of them "going pop" (even Skillet is poppy on several songs from Unleashed). Disciple has proven in recent years that they are more relevant than ever, and with less competition in the rock scene, Long Live The Rebels could be their most commercially successful album yet.

Disciple has been making great tunes for so long that I get pumped every time I hear about them dropping a new project. Long Live The Rebels is one album that I won't be passing on this year.
