Jeremiah Coyne is a singer-songwriter from Maryland who calls upon his personal life lessons and experiences while writing. Coyne's newest single, "The Seed," has a folk/country type of vibe musically with a bluesy lead guitar accompanying the sound. In the track, Coyne sings about how God can use him and the seeds he's planted even after he's gone from this earth. Coyne sings, "I hope this life's worth living when all my time is gone. I hope this pain's not for nothing when they bury my bones. But if this is where I'm planted, God, let me roots grow deep. If I don't see the fruit, I'm trusting that You can still use the seed." It's an encouraging message to trust in God no matter what you see as you never know what impact your actions or words may have on someone. Musically, an acoustic guitar carries the main sound with some additional strings and keys to go along with the drums. The aforementioned electric guitar really adds some great highlights to the track, giving it a nice flare. The song builds both musically and vocally as it progresses and crescendos nicely around the 4:25 mark. This is peak of the song, and the payoff is worth it. Coyne's soulful and passionate vocals fit the track perfectly and really bring the sound all together as a whole.

While Coyne is a relative newcomer, he has been releasing singles since 2021. He's amassing a decent amount of material and appears to be continuing the trend -- though 2025 was a light year of output compared to previous years. However, Coyne is consistent and his songs are honest. Fans of this singer-songwriter style will want to pay attention. I know that I'm looking forward to what Jeremiah Coyne has to offer up next.
