1. Let's take a moment to be honest - I like to do what I like to do
The things that fill me up and make me someone
Are the things I hope impress me and you
Oh, But when I stop to think about it - I have to wonder at it all

Chorus
What's the point if my eyes aren't on you
It's like playing a game that nobody wins
Gonna need your help to keep my eyes on you Jesus
Cause I'm good at chasing down the wind
Gotta keep my eyes on You

2. What I have isn’t really good enough
There always seem to be something more
But it always ends up moving just beyond my reach
and again it leaves me feeling poor
I have a feeling that if I even got it - that It would never be enough

Chorus

Bridge
Because I often lose my focus And I quickly lose my way
Help me to find my through darkness
And see the better side, the brighter light, the beauty of the Day

3. So what do I take from all these "lessons"
That serving people is like serving You
And to be content with all the blessing that you give me
To see my old life be made new
Oh, and what a better a life we're given When our treasure is in heaven – Chorus 1

Chorus 2
Here’s the point when my eyes are on you
I’m seeing life in a different way
Living it out as I keep my eyes on you Jesus
I’m no longer chasing down the wind
Gotta keep my eyes on You yeah
Gotta keep my eyes on You yeah
