Whatever this day may bring,
Your name will be praised.
Whatever this day may bring,
Your name will be praised
In my cell it is black as night,
But with you the dawn is breaking.
In this place I am so lonely,
But you will not leave me crying.
In my heart I am failing,
But you will help me to the end.
Whatever this day may bring,
Your name will be praised.
Whatever this day may bring,
Your name will be praised.
O God I cry to you before the morning light,
O my God help me to pray in the dark of night.
I cannot do this, cannot face this alone,
I cannot do this, I cannot face this alone.
In my mind I am restless,
But you give me all your peace.
In my soul there are bitter tears,
But with you there is only grace.
In my eye the future hides itself,
But you know the death I’ll face.
Whatever this day may bring,
Your name will be praised.
Whatever this day may bring,
Your name will be praised.
