Parker's Mercy Brigade cover
04. Bless the Lord Who Gives and Takes
Album: Parker's Mercy Brigade
Artist: Kristen Gilles

Chorus
Help is coming from our God who saves
Who has numbered all our days
Bless the Lord who gives and takes!
Man of Sorrows, You have born our pain
You have suffered in our place
Bless the Lord who gives and takes!

Verse 1
Sorrows have broken us
As we mourn we will trust in You
On our knees in the dust
Here we sing, here we trust in You

Pre-Chorus
Lord, You gave and You took
Somehow for our good.
Our eyes burn with tears
But they turn to You

Chorus
Help is coming from our God who saves
Who has numbered all our days
Bless the Lord who gives and takes!
Man of Sorrows, You have born our pain
You have suffered in our place
Bless the Lord who gives and takes!

Verse 2
We are pressed, we are crushed
We are slain, still we trust in You
Worship here from the dust
We will sing, we will trust in You
(Pre-Chorus and Chorus)

End Tag
Lord, You gave and You took
Somehow for our good.
