A sleeping child, a new found dream
A mind untouched, a heart unseen
A miracle, a wondrous thing
A life begun, a song to sing

You are the brave, You are the brave
You are a child only in name
I see your strength, I feel your heart
So I know You will be brave

Into a world where chaos reigns
We find our souls undone with pain
And here we know we must remain
Somehow to stand, become the brave

Become the brave, become the brave
We stand alone ’til hope remains
And though we know, we are afraid
We must be brave, become the brave

One day dawn broke, revealed a light
In history’s page, never this sight
Announced from heav’n as God’s delight
T’was for men’s hearts he burned so bright

He was the brave, He was the brave
He died alone, He died to save
His will laid down, His life, His crown
True love remained, He was the brave

He came to walk the steps of man
He knelt and held each weakened hand
He prayed for those who’d call His name
So in Him, I am the brave
