Rise cover
07. Beautiful Mess
Album: Rise
Artist: PJ Anderson

We awake to the call to live fully alive
We wait for the one who gives us life
We hear His voice cry out to silence every doubt

Though there’s pain in the world that we clearly see
Let us not close our eyes to poverty
Let’s join our hearts to bring the message of Our King

Give life to loneliness
Find a place where we find rest in this beautiful mess

You made us beautiful despite all our mess
We are created for holiness
Your love is the light that leads us to Christ
Who made us beautiful, a beautiful mess, oh, oh. A beautiful mess, oh, oh

What is beautiful we’ve made a mess
So give us grace to let our hearts confess
That you are God above and we are made to love

So let us love like Him who came to serve
Who lived this life so we could learn
That there are mouths to feed so many hearts in need

Give life to loneliness
Find a place where we find rest
In this beautiful mess

You made us beautiful despite all our mess
We are created for holiness
Your love is the light that leads us to Christ
Who made us beautiful, a beautiful mess, oh, oh. A beautiful mess, oh, oh

No mess is so great that you wouldn’t save and set us free
No mess is so great that you wouldn’t save and set us free

You made us beautiful despite all our mess
We are created for holiness
Your love is the light that leads us to Christ
Who made us beautiful
A beautiful mess, oh, oh. A beautiful mess, oh, oh
A beautiful mess, oh, oh. A beautiful mess, oh, oh
