Chosen EP cover
02. Chosen
Album: Chosen EP
Artist: Rita West

{Verse 1} You align the stars / You breathed the world we know of into being / You’re the One who fills the seas / And brings them back to peace when they are raging / So who am I to be / One to play a part in all Your majesty / You have known my heart / You have known my name from the beginning

{Chorus} My name is written in the scars on Your hands / You gave Your blood to save this heart You long for / So for all of my days, let my life bring you praise / Bring you praise

{Verse 2} You chose me from the start / With a promise full of peace and full of healing / By Your life You set me free / And with Your love to broke the chains of all my slavery / The reason why I hope / Because Your faithfulness is made new every morning / So that even when I run / You chase me down with mercies never-ending

{Bridge} You have chosen this heart / You have chosen this heart / You have chosen this heart of mine
