It was a Saturday morning as I walked out the door
Never new that this day would bring a whole lot more
Than the week I had behind me it was more like a dream
But not the kind that would come true or so it had seemed

Down the street a couple blocks I saw it in a front yard
For sale said the tag I didn't think very hard
Rang the doorbell gave up cash grabbed the title and split
I already know just what I should do with it

Gonna hit the streets tonight in my brand new DeLorean
Put a flux capacitor in the back of my brand new DeLorean
Cant wait till they can hover convert my brand new DeLorean
For now I'll just drive 88 miles per hour in my brand new DeLorean

Got it back to my house and gave the engine a rest
Grabbed my favorite jean jacket and an orange vest
With my aviator glasses and suspenders I'm set
Tied my Nike's on my feet now it's time to jet

Backed out of my driveway and gave it some gas
Roaring down the street watching cars as I pass
With the stainless-steel construction flux dispersion is tight
But since it doesn't exist yet I guess I'll just drive all night

No more hanging on to jeeps cruising round on my board
Since I got my new ride my closets where it's now stored
When I'm hanging with my girl we take the truck to the lake
But when we hit the twin pines mall yeah you know what we take

It doesn't take an Einstein to figure out why it's cool
Yeah you can dog me all you want but I'll take you to school
I guess you call it jealousy and if that's the case
Some start kicking call me chicken cause I won't race
