Verse 1
From the dawn of age, God had made the sacred plan
To renew our faith, and guide us with His hand
For on that Holy night, like the prophecy had said
Was to come a King, and save us all from death

Chorus
For there was no room for the Servant King
How can we be saved, if we don’t let Him in?
God’s love came down knocking at your door
In the end we had no room for the King

Verse 2
Joseph and his wife, holy Mary at his side
Came to understand, the glory of that night
With their humble hands, they would nurture God’s command
For the human race, God’s salvation was at hand

Bridge
There was no room; there was no place,
For the gift of heaven, would shine down his saving grace

Verse 3
As the story goes, they had found a stable room
To bring into this world, the fruit of heaven’s womb
This was God’s own plan, for us all to reconcile
But our hearts so cold, to welcome Heaven’s Child…
