Swingin Hammers cover
10. The Good Shepherd
Album: Swingin Hammers
Artist: Swingin Hammers

I hear that there is great love
But it’s hard to believe
But you leave the 99
And you come for me

I hear that you are faithful
I’ll admit I cannot see
But you leave the 99
And you come for me

I see you from a distance
You’re coming through the field
Over many miles
I can feel your gaze
I hear your footsteps near
You leave all that behind
And you meet me here

Oh

We have all gone astray
Like foolish little sheep
But you leave the 99
And you come for me

I will not make it home
I just lie here and weep
But you leave the 99
And you come for me

I see you from a distance
You’re coming through the field
Over many miles
I can feel your gaze
I hear your footsteps near
You leave all that behind
And you meet me here

We have all gone astray
Like foolish little sheep
But you leave the 99
And you come for me

/

Praise God from whom all blessings flow
Praise Him all creatures here below
Praise Him above ye heavenly host
Praise Father, Son & Holy Ghost
