Verse 1
In the morning I will thank You
For the mercy You have shown
In the evening I will praise You
For Your love that overflows
When I call You always answer
Your arms are open wide
You're the God of my salvation
You won't ever leave my side
Chorus 1
This is the day that the Lord has made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
This is the day that the Lord has made
I will rejoice and be glad in every triumph
Every struggle every season of my life
This is the day that the Lord has made
That the Lord has made
Verse 2
Even when I feel surrounded
And I'm pressed on every side
You're the confidence I carry
And my strength in every stride
God I know I don't deserve it
But I'm righteous in Your eyes
Oh that stone that was rejected
Is now the bedrock of my life
Post-Chorus 1
It's my joy
It's my joy to bring You praise
I rejoice in this day that You have made
Bridge 1
Your faithful love endures forever
You've always been so good
Here's my life in full surrender
Every breath for You
