Verse 1
I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye
You were already flying high
Headed right where you were called to be
I remember what I felt as a kid
The love I saw in all that we did
And I know that love is still with me

(Chorus)
Cause every time I see a red bird fly
I smile and start to cry
Oh I know you’re watching over me
When I close my eyes and see
You dancing on golden streets
I’m ready to join you in the sky
So keep letting that red bird fly

Verse 2
All the wonderful memories
Won’t compare to what I’ll see
When I meet you at those gates
Joy builds inside of me
Thinking about the day it will be
Singing together in eternal victory

(Repeat Chorus)

(Bridge)
Oh when I see that red bird start to spread out those wings
It tells my heart you love me and that you’re right next to your King

(Repeat Chorus)
