Perceptions cover
12. The Ones
Album: Perceptions
Artist: This Beautiful Republic

We're the ones, and you're looking up at us, saying be the ones, be the ones
You're the ones, and we're looking up to you, saying you're the ones

We're the ones, and you're keeping us alive, saying be the ones, be the ones
You're the ones, who are holding the front line, you're the ones

Welcome every one
Who came out to the show
Show me that you're ready, you're ready to go
Welcome every one

Welcome every one
Who came out to the show
We're wound up and we're ready, we're ready to go

Behind the Song:
“The Ones” is a song for the fans. We see them each night as we stand on stage admiring us and depending on us to share our songs in a way that God can use. What they don’t realize is that they are just as much a tool for God as we are. Their support allows us to truly see God through them as they see God working through us. Taking time to drive to the show, bring friends, buy a t-shirt, or simply share a song with someone means the world to us and keeps us alive. We thought they deserved a song dedicated to them, especially a rock anthem.” – Ben Olin (This Beautiful Republic)
