Put it down for the first and last time
Gone around myself to look at pastime
Canʼt believe I thought this was an ending
When you held me up from the beginning
Let it be known Youʼre the reason Iʼm here
Glory to God while I disappear
Game on with every tear
Emotion thatʼs so so sincere
Fill me up beyond my reserve
Drawn close for more than I deserve
My soul sings without a single word
Lift your voice, let praise be heard
Front, back feelinʼ that
All my folks, where you at?
Stand up (stand up), stand up (stand up)
Front, back feelinʼ that
All my folks, where you at?
Stand up (stand up), stand up (stand up)
Stand up (stand up), stand up (stand up)
Out yo seat, everyone praise the Lord
Iʼm gonna stay in this state of mind
Iʼm gonna pray for this grace of mine
Iʼm gonna keep on ʻtil we find
The faithfulness weʼve left behind
Forgive me now, draw me in
Place Your will complete within
Cleanse my heart free from sin
It seems like a point to begin
Iʼve been here, times before
Spirit broke, face on the floor
Your love, it consumes me Lord
That touch is what Iʼve waited for
Give me more, I canʼt wait
To enter in, and see your face
Feel Your light consuming me
Ignite our life and set us free
In unity, together as one
Here to glorify Godʼs Son
In His name as you know how
One voice, one love, come on now!
We will stay and not be broken
Stand up for words unspoken
Sent to live and testify as one
Together we glorify Godʼs Son

Behind the Song:"“Stand Up” was written in a different way than any other song on the record. In most
cases I will come into the studio with a song already prepare lyrically and conceptually.
In the case of "Stand Up" however Brandon, Derek, and myself were working on a song
when the computer took a crash. Brandon and I were just sitting back waiting for Derek
to work his magic on the computer, when Brandon said "Letsʼ just write a new song
while we wait.” Brandon came up with a guitar melody and I wrote the chorus on the
spot. "Stand Up" is the fastest rap song I have ever done! Lift your voice and let praise
be heard!!!" - Benjiman
