Take my hand, love | Take my soul as yours | We can clear the field that’s grown between our love | If I take the fall | Could we decide | To lay our fears aside? || It’s a long way home | But hope’s around the bend | Long way home | But love will sound again | Like winter’s cold | Yields unto the spring | We’ll find our way back home || I can see the valleys you have crossed | I wish I could rewind | The love and time we lost | But it brings us here | Can we decide | To leave our fears behind? || Stars shine | Would you climb the mountain? | Life is here before us | Even though the winds blow | Storms will not define us | Take my hand and soul and | we will find our way back home

Behind the Song:
"We recorded this song in the winter of 2007. It did not make the cut on the Give Yourself Away album though it is one of my favorite songs that we've ever recorded. It's a song written to/for my wife after a conversation I had with a friend whose marriage was in trouble. Marriage is hard. All of us go through seasons of trial and turmoil. The decisions to love and confess our faults before God and our spouse are the defining moments in marriage. Liz loved the song (thankfully), and I fought for this song to be on the next album. Most of the tracks are from that original session several years ago. I think “Long Way Home” is a very strong addition to Miracle." - Robbie Seay
