05. Gravity (Pulling Heaven Down)

Black & White
by Royal Tailor

Whatís love without a heart that it can teach
Whatís war without a cause
Whatís hope without humanity in need
Whatís a win without a loss
I know, I know we fight against gravity
But gravityís no enemy
Yes, I know, I know we fight against gravity
But gravity is what we need

Itís pulling Heaven down, down, down
Itís pulling Heaven down, down, down
How could it be the gravity that holds me to the ground
Is pulling Heaven down, down, down

Whatís free if thereís no chains to be found
Whatís death without a cost
Whatís truth if we keep it out of reach
Whoís Christ without a cross
I know, I know we fight against gravity
But gravityís no enemy
No, I know, I know we fight against gravity
But gravity is what we need

Gravity found us a Savior
Put Him on Earth so He could save us
No love, no force is greater
Heaven meets Earth, thatís the gravity of love

Pulling Heaven down so look up thereís a change in the wind
A revolution is about to begin, love wins
Yeah, Iím talking about a holy visitation
For God to come and visit, this nationís patiently waiting
For Him to move like He said He would move
Ready for God to do anything that He wants to
The time is now to pull, if you ask me, Iím not afraid of gravity
Itís pulling Heaven down

Behind the Song:
ďGravityĒ is one that I wrote by myself. The idea was inspired by our band pastor. We were talking about how gravity has always been looked at as something negative and, for the most part, in symbolic terms gravity is negative. But as believers, itís in those negative situations---those places where we feel most restricted and held down---that we actually have the most access to see the glory of God work on our behalf. Adversity is an opportunity to experience Godís glory, and I wanted to somehow communicate that in a song. --Tauren
