"“Gloria” began in my mind and heart on the road last year. As I connected with people all around the world, I began to really see them as God’s precious children. It seemed to me that it wasn’t so much what people called themselves that really counted. It was what God called them. So I began asking, “What does God call people?” My understanding is that God is the God of all creation. He is God of those who acknowledge Him and those who don’t. Some people I have met disagree with me about this, but I believe that all people are His children. Some of His precious children are going to live with Him forever, and some are going to live separate from Him forever. When I look into the eyes of a human being, whether they call themselves an atheist, Buddhist, Muslim, Christian, or any other name, I see a person who God loves. I see a child who is made for a relationship with a heavenly Father. I also acknowledge that in the Scriptures, children of God are also those who have received Jesus as Lord. So, “Gloria” is essentially me, standing on the highest mountain, calling for all creation to come before the God who made them to give Him glory. As far as I am concerned, we are children of God, and He is our perfect Father. He desires to hold us in His strong, tender hands and walk with us here and into eternity with Him." - Paul Colman
