04. Sins Of Our Fathers
Album: Found
Artist: Seventh Day Slumber

Trying hardest to mask this, gotta face the day
But you believe that my life is perfect
Deep inside I have carried this hidden pain
Now it's time that it comes to the surface

I won't let this hold me anymore

I'm fighting today to get closer
I'm praying for strength so I can lay this down
Won't pay for the sins of my fathers
I lay this down, I lay me down

Gotta look in the mirror, no one to blame
Pull the bandage and let these wounds heal
No more secrets to haunt me, it's time to change
It's been so long since I've had you face myself

I won't let this hold me anymore

I'm fighting today to get closer
I'm praying for strength so I can lay this down
Won't pay for the sins of my fathers
I lay this down, I lay me down

I'm fighting today to get closer
I'm praying for strength so I can lay this down

I'm fighting today to get closer
I'm praying for strength so I can lay this down
Won't pay for the sins of my fathers
I lay this down, I lay me down
