Did you know what you were getting into,
When you dropped it all and followed Him?
Well, did you know the story would continue
After He died up on the cross for sin?
Did you ever think that you'd be lying?
I don't think that you could ever know.
Well I can see your eyes have now been crying,
Did you ever hear the rooster crow?
Oh Peter, why did you deny the truth?
Oh Peter, you know that Jesus died for you,
Yes He did now.

Well everybody told you the story,
Did you ever know that none of them said,
Jesus has shown us all His glory,
He has risen from the dead.
It's just that no one could ever convince you,
Unless you saw Him there for yourself.
How did you feel when Jesus walked up to you,
And showed His nail marks in His hand?
Oh Thomas, why did you deny the truth?
Oh Thomas, you know that Jesus died for you,
And me, Jesus died well can't you see?

Do you know what you are getting in to,
When you turn away from Jesus Christ?
Don't you know your life could be much better,
If you would listen to this good advice.
And if you're ever looking for the real truth,
You are gonna find it there.
Cause Jesus said if you seek you will find.
He's the one who answers all your prayers.
